The Sports Classic Grey has always had a mesmerizing effect on the youngest scion of the Leeuwenkamp family. The subtle glow is commonly used by Porsche, on the 997 model in particular. When this Defender was originally delivered in Italy in 1988, it was blue and had a hard-top. We did a body-off restoration, blasted the chassis and powder coated the standard parts all in black. We revised the original V8 engine, modified the suspension of the car and put new shock absorbers in. On top of that, we replaced the hard-top for an Exmoor Trim navy blue soft-top but we modified it in a way that it's possible to put the hard-top back on in the cold winter months.
As far as the interior, we completely re-did it. The original chairs were lined with black/blue/white squares, as well as the 4 tip-up seats that we put in the back and the dashboard. The roof and sun visors are all Alcantara Black, while everything else is sprayed in the unique color of the car
