This tough 1996 Defender with roots from Switzerland doesn't only look good from the outside. What's underneath the hood will pleasantly surprise you too. A true connoisseur might recognize the Tuscan Blue colour as one of the six original colours that were used on the Range Rover Classic. And that's not all that we used from Range Rover. Besides the beautiful paint job, we also put an impressive 3.5L V8 engine from a Range Rover Classic and implemented it in this Defender, including its automatic transmission. This Defender transcends existing limitations, and is a frontrunner with unparalleled features.
Taking apart a Defender that's over 20 years old for a complete body-off restoration is what our mechanics live and breathe for. Keeping some of the original parts, like the headlights and the doors, whilst some other parts are replaced with brand new components. The LK05 has, among other things, a completely new exhaust system, a brand new interior by Exmoor Trim, shock absorbers and 16-inch black Boost rims. The combination of new and original parts makes driving the LK05 a comfortable 21st-century experience, without denying the history of this car.
